Players before the Main Event: Here's What Jay Farber Did!

If you are a fan of poker or a player, online or offline, you will obviously know all there is to know about the game. One of the biggest events on the annual poker calendar is the World Series of Poker. Started off in 1970, the World Series of Poker is today a signature poker event that draws thousands of players for a shot at winning the event and the title of World Series of Poker champion. Since 2005, it has been sponsored by Caesar's Entertainment.

The event itself consists of smaller poker tournaments, all culminating in a grand finale with the 'main event' at the final table, where one player emerges champion. Winners of each tournament get a World Series of Poker bracelet, and the winner of the final event also wins the grand cash prize. The initial number of thousands of players gets whittled down the final 9 at the final table.

While the World Series of Poker is about, well, poker, there are a lot of other things that players can do during the event. Players have their own things to do before and after an event: partying, hanging out, making new friends, going around town, and so much more. So what does Jay Farber do?
